Kathryn “Carter” Peckham received her training from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences which is the founding institution of osteopathic healthcare. She has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedic practices and has been both a staff therapist as well as a clinical director/ manager in multiple settings. She built and owned her own practice for 11 years until deciding to move to the East Coast to be closer to family and international travel. Since moving to Richmond, she has become an advisor for the University of Richmond’s Customer Experience Certification Program.
Carter employs a range of manual therapy techniques that she has acquired over her many years of practice and is an expert in movement analysis and postural assessment. She is an excellent listener and advocate for her patients, and tries to provide education to each patient so they may understand the underlying condition being treated and the rationale behind the therapy being provided.
When not at work, Carter can usually be found out in nature with her husband walking, kayaking, or catching a Kansas Jayhawks basketball game.
