“Our 2-year-old, Lee, spent quite a bit of time at OrthoVirginia in Lynchburg in 2020. He broke his arm for the first time in June. Dr. Smithson took great care of him and he was out of his cast about 5 weeks later. Our wild boy fell again and re-broke the same arm in October but this time the break required surgery. We were so thankful to have Dr. Smithson take care of Lee again. He was so wonderful with not only Lee but with reassuring me, explaining things in detail, and making sure I understood the plan. It’s not easy to see your toddler go through surgery but the care we received from Dr. Smithson and the entire staff at OrthoVirginia was outstanding. We are so thankful that he is doing so well now. And though we love the staff at OrthoVirginia, we are praying for no more broken bones. ;)” – Emily Y.
