Gavin was born and raised in Georgia. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps after high school and spent a few years learning the value of hard work and service to others. After finishing his enlistment, Gavin attended Marymount University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He then continued his studies at Marymount University where he ultimately received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2006. Since then, Gavin has been practicing exclusively in outpatient orthopedics. Along the way he has had some interesting experiences, such as working with active duty service members and their families, working with high level triathletes and endurance athletes and utilizing video movement analysis techniques for multiple sports.
Gavin currently lives in Annandale with his wife and three children. When not participating in family activities, he has a love for strength athletics and lifting heavy things and putting them down. In addition, Gavin is a voracious reader and has a fair-sized home library with very eclectic titles.
