Daniel J. Acevedo, PA-C

Dan Acevedo, PA-C has been practicing medicine as a PA since 2010, focusing mostly on orthopedic surgery. Over the last 5 years he has taken an academic interest in osteoporotic fractures and continues to work to increase access to diagnosis and treatment of fragile bone disease in the community. He also enjoys seeing a wide range of patients at our 7 day orthopedic urgent care, Ortho On Call. Outside of direct patient care, Dan has had the opportunity to be faculty at various local, regional and national conferences as well as a clinical preceptor and adjunct faculty at University of Lynchburg’s PA Medicine program. In his free time, Dan enjoys running and weightlifting as well as spending time with his wife and daughter.
