Specialties

OrthoVirginia Offices

Dr. Corey Resnick specializes in hip and knee replacements. He became interested in orthopedic surgery as it is a unique specialty that allows surgeons to have a dramatic and direct impact on the lives of their patients. Employing surgical or often nonsurgical interventions, the goal is to help patients get back to activities they enjoy and improve the quality of their lives. Throughout his training, Dr. Resnick saw hip and knee replacement surgery as the epitome of what orthopedic surgeons have to offer to help patients achieve these goals. He sees the specialty allowing the surgeon to really get to know their patients, what they value, and form long term relationships. For these reasons, Dr. Resnick decided to subspecialize in hip and knee replacement surgery to further learn the nuances of these procedures in order to best care for his patients, whether their problem is routine or a more complex revision.

In his free time, Dr. Resnick enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and their yellow lab. He enjoys riding his Peloton, downhill skiing and playing soccer, and also watching most sports including baseball, NFL and college football, Formula 1, and listening to sports podcasts.
