Common conditions & advanced treatments

Growing kids are often injured playing sports and in childhood accidents. We’re trained in treating developing bodies to restore function and protect young skeletomuscular systems. We see children for a wide variety of orthopedic needs:

  • Acute physical trauma
  • Broken bones
  • Sports injuries
  • Sprains and strains

While many of the kids we treat are athletes or injured in active play, we also specialize in congenital and acquired conditions. Some of the conditions we treat include:

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Club Feet
  • Flat Feet
  • Hip Dysplasia
  • Neuromuscular Conditions
  • Scoliosis
  • Spina Bifida

What to expect

At OrthoVirginia, we work closely with our patients and their families to make sure that they understand their condition and treatment in age-appropriate ways. We’re friendly and approachable so kids feel comfortable, but we’re also experts in our field.

We provide support and guidance for parents and caregivers as well as injured children to make sure each child achieves the best possible outcome
