Fairfax, Va., September 17, 2020 – OrthoVirginia is pleased to announce Vignesh Alamanda, MD; Daniel Gloekler, MD; and Tiffany J. Pan, MD, have joined OrthoVirginia in Northern Virginia.
Dr. Alamanda, a joint replacement surgeon, attended the University of South Florida for his undergraduate education and earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at OrthoCarolina/Carolinas Medical Center and his fellowship in adult reconstruction and joint replacement at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Dr. Alamanda is a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Gloekler, an orthopedic trauma surgeon, attended the University of Rochester for his undergraduate education and earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and his fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Cooper University Hospital.
Dr. Gloekler is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the Orthopedic Trauma Association.
Dr. Pan, a hand, wrist, and elbow surgeon, attended Cornell University for her undergraduate education and earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Pan is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Association for Hand Surgery.

Dr. Alamanda joined the practice August 24, 2020 is accepting new patients at the Reston, Stone Springs, and Herndon offices. Dr. Gloekler joined the practice August 20, 2020 and will be servicing our patients in the trauma departments at local hospitals and help transition them into recovery. Dr. Pan joined the practice August 6, 2020 and is accepting new patients at the Alexandria, Arlington, and Springfield offices.
