Upload X-rays, CT scans and MRIs to MyChart
Now you can upload x-rays, CT scans and MRIs to MyChart! Follow these step-by-step instructions.
If you need to send a picture of an injury, please use MyChart messages. Insurance cards can be uploaded under Insurance Summary. Only x-rays, CT scans and MRI images should be uploaded using these instructions.

Step 1
While logged into MyChart, go to “Menu” and choose “Import X-Ray, MRI or CT”.

Step 2
You’ll be redirected to Ambra, which is connected to MyChart and shows your x-rays, CTs scans and MRIs. Click the blue Choose Files button, then choose the files you want to upload and click Upload.

You may be asked if you trust the site and want to upload files to it. Say yes, you want to upload.

Step 3
After you choose the files, check the box authorizing the image for upload. Then click the blue Upload Selected Studies button.

Step 4
After you click Upload Selected Studies, your file will upload and your provider will be able to see it in Ambra.
