Veronica is a physical therapist assistant at OrthoVirginia’s St. Mary’s location. She received her Bachelors of Fine Arts from VCU in 1993, where she studied graphic design and advertising. She decided on a career change and graduated John Tyler Community College’s Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associates Degree in Applied Science in 2002. Her clinical experience has been focused on general orthopedics from an acute, in hospital perspective as well as her many years in outpatient orthopedics. She enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries as well as helping her patients improve their overall quality of life through improved mobility. Away from the clinic she is an instructor and 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo, and enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
