Lauren Anderson, PT, DPT, OCS, MTC

Lauren is a Virginia native who received her B.S. in Exercise Science from Virginia Commonwealth University and then her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. Since becoming a physical therapist she has called Northern Virginia home and has developed a passion for treating orthopedic and sports injuries. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, and completed her Manual Therapy Certification and training through Evidence in Motion. She has Level 1 and 2 Functional Dry Needling Certifications through Kinetacore and is SFMA Level 1 Certified with Functional Movement Systems. She has extensive experience in treating a wide variety of populations ranging from pediatrics, to post-operative patients, to runners/crossfiters/college athletes. She combines various manual therapy techniques and functional exercise to help patients achieve their highest goals. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband Charlie and dog Harvie, traveling, working out at Orangetheory, and cheering on the Rams, Canes, and DC sports teams.
