McLean, Va., June. 7, 2021 – OrthoVirginia is pleased to announce Nita Sumida, M.D., has joined OrthoVirginia in Richmond, Virginia.
Dr. Sumida, a rheumatologist, attended Western Kentucky University for her undergraduate education and earned her medical degree from the University of Kentucky. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Kentucky and her rheumatology fellowship at Wake Forest University.
Dr. Sumida is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
“We are excited to welcome Dr. Sumida,” said Ben Kittredge, M.D., Regional Vice President of OrthoVirginia – Northern Virginia. “She is expanding our ability to care for patients in the Northern Virginia area by offering rheumatology for the first time in this region,” he added.
Dr. Sumida joined the practice June 1, 2021 and is accepting new patients at our McLean-Tysons office.
