OrthoVirginia is pleased to announce the grand opening of its new cutting-edge Medical
Office Building at Westchester. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, set for Tuesday, September
17, 2024, marks a significant milestone in OrthoVirginia’s ongoing mission to deliver
patient-centered, high-quality care across Central Virginia.

This new facility will enhance access to comprehensive orthopedic services, serving as a
central hub for the region. With over 35 locations statewide, OrthoVirginia is Virginia’s
largest provider of orthopedic medicine and one of the leading providers of physical, hand,
and occupational therapy. OrthoVirginia’s Westchester Medical Office Building will house
an array of orthopedic clinics providing diagnostic imaging and surgery, physical and hand
therapies, and other services. The Medical Office Building will play a pivotal role in
providing care to a wider range of patients throughout Central Virginia, while offering
comprehensive services in one single location.

Completed in 16 months, this ambitious project was brought to completion through the
collaborative efforts of its partners: OrthoVirginia, Lingerfelt, Hourigan, PSH+, and
Timmons Group. Lingerfelt and Hourigan Development strategically united to form a joint
venture development team that initiated the project, setting the foundation for its
successful execution. As the Construction Manager, Hourigan ensured that the facility was
executed efficiently and to the highest standards. PSH+ Architects provided innovative
architectural designs that focused on creating patient-centered spaces that are both
functional and aesthetically pleasing. Timmons Group contributed their engineering
expertise, ensuring the infrastructure was robust and sustainable. Together, these firms
delivered a state-of-the-art orthopedic facility that meets the needs of both patients and
healthcare providers, reflecting OrthoVirginia’s commitment to excellence in medical care.
